Just for Kids - Beginning Spanish

Give your child the gift of learning a new language!  This is the best time for your child to start their language learning journey.  Because your child’s brain is like a little sponge at a young, you will be shocked at how quickly your child will begin using Spanish!  Your child will be learning the basics of the Spanish language in a fun and interactive way including songs, games, skits, puppets, music, etc.  Participants will receive materials to take home each week so that parents and children can practice at home. This class is intended for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade and will provide an excellent introduction to the Spanish language! Class topics will include: greetings, classroom, numbers, colors, body parts, adjectives, feelings, weekdays,  weather, months, family, clothing, household items, fruits, foods, verbs, alphabet!  
Classes begin September 2025 - Tuesdays @ 4:45-5:30 pm

Just for Kids - Continuing Spanish

​In Just for Kids - Continuing Spanish , your child’s Spanish language development will continue at a quick pace!  Your child will review the basics of the Spanish language learned in Just for Kids Beginning while continuing to learn new vocabulary and topics in a fun and interactive way with songs, games, skits, puppets, music, etc.  Class topics will include:  buildings in the city, rooms in the house, comparative adjectives, superlative        adjectives, farm animals, directions, transportation, sea animals, verbs, topography, commands, leisure activities, nature, wild animals, zoo animals, higher numbers and more!

Adult - Beginning Spanish 

Have you ever wanted to learn another language?  Did you take Spanish in High School or College and feel like you have forgotten everything?  Would you benefit professionally from learning Spanish?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Chatty Chameleon Adult Spanish classes are for you!  In the Beginning course, you will learn the basics of Spanish and begin communicating using simple phrases and structures!  By the end of the course you will be able to communicate with others in Spanish using simple sentences and conversation patterns!

​Adult - Continuing Spanish

Just for Kids - Beginning American Sign Language 

Introduce your child to the wonders of learning a new language!  American Sign Language!! This class is intended for children entering Kindergarten through 8th and will provide an excellent introduction to learning another language!  Sign Language is a great way to begin language learning and can help develop better communication skills, enrich relationships, and facilitate bilingual learning!​

Adult - Beginning American Sign Language 

​It's FINALLY here!  We have been working on being able to offer this class to the adult community in our area in years!  ​Have you ever wanted to learn another language?  Sign Language may be just the thing! Learning Sign Language will provide you with a fun and reward skill that you can use throughout your daily life!  You will learn the basics of ASL Grammar (handshapes, the importance of facial expressions, and body movement in ASL, use of space, letters/numbers, feelings, questions, and basic conversational phrases. We will also touch upon the Deaf Culture. Come join this NEW Chatty Chameleon class and start signing today!

Give your child the gift of learning a new language!  This is the best time for your child to start their language learning journey.  Because your child’s brain is like a little sponge at a young, you will be shocked at how quickly your child will begin using Chinese!  Your child will be learning the basics of the Chinese language in a fun and interactive way including songs, games, skits, puppets, music, etc. ​Learning Chinese challenges the mind and enhances cognitive abilities. It improves memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills. The complex nature of the Chinese language, with its tonal system and unique characters, stimulates the brain and provides a valuable intellectual exercise.
